Workshop interculturele communicatie

Onze verschillende culturen maken het soms moeilijk om met elkaar te communiceren. Als mens vinden we het onbekende vaak oncomfortabel, maar schaamte voelen of negeren is vaak niet de oplossing. In deze workshop gaan we kijken naar wie wij als mens zijn en wat onze culturen allemaal zijn. Op die manier kunnen we met humor en waardering gaan kijken waar we elkaar wel begrijpen. 
 
Wie is Isabelle Booij?
"Ik ben Isabelle, 28 jaar oud, en ik ben in verschillende landen opgegroeid. Door die ervaring en mijn opleidingen in interculturele communicatie en werk als docent vind ik het erg leuk om mensen samen te brengen en verbinding te leggen tussen mensen. Vooral als die mensen denken dat ze niet op elkaar lijken. Want uiteindelijk lijken we meer op elkaar dan we denken."

Voor wie?
Elke leeftijd en doelgroep is welkom! Hoe meer diversiteit hoe beter en of je nu met heel veel gemak tussen culturen beweegt of nog weerstand voelt hierbij en er meer over wil leren, alles is welkom en waardevol.

Voertaal is Nederlands, maar Engels mag ook zeker gesproken worden.

Our different cultures sometimes make it difficult to communicate with each other. As humans, we often find the unknown uncomfortable, but feeling shame or ignoring it is often not the solution. In this workshop, we will look at who we are as humans and what our cultures are. In this way, we can use humor and appreciation to see where we do understand each other. 

 Who is Isabelle Booij?
"I am Isabelle, 28 years old, and I grew up in several countries. Because of that experience and my education in intercultural communication and work as a teacher, I really enjoy bringing people together and creating connections between people. Especially when those people think they are not similar to each other. Because in the end, we are more alike than we think."

For whom?
All ages and target groups are welcome! The more diversity, the better, and whether you move easily between cultures or still feel resistance and want to learn more, everything is welcome and valuable.
The working language is Dutch, but English can certainly also be spoken.
